Site Audit and Remediation

Data Centres, Data Rooms and Communications Cabinets that have equipment replaced and upgraded over a long period of time can become messy with out of date or wrong assets tags.

AWA has technical resources that are familiar with terminology and equipment used in network cabinets and communications rooms.

During Audits all tests are non-intrusive as generally AWA is not expected to power down or interrupt the operation of production environments.

The scope of the project is to attend site and complete a comprehensive audit of the site capturing details of both an objective and subjective nature.

Surveys will be recorded on paper during the audit and digitised once complete to allow an audit trail.

AWA will transpose the information from the survey into an excel format as provided by the client.

AWA will work to build a consistent and robust schedule of attendance that optimises efficiency, accuracy and site availability.

The AWA project coordinator will:

• Liaise with the client team to ensure all deliverables are being met
• Ensure all site audits are completed to standard
• Maintain a register of completion and progress
• Provide progress reporting to management teams
• Maintain an escalations and exception register
• Collate and prepare the site audit information for feedback to the client
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Co-ordinate billing monthly in arrears for sites completed

• A full site audit checklist will be completed for each site and will be countersigned by the onsite contact
  
  
• As per the Site Audit Checklist digital images and video will be required
• The Images will be named and sequenced according to the relevant question
• The images will be in JPG format
• AWA Proposes that the images and digitised surveys be zipped into site bundles
  
  
• AWA technical teams will provide a copy of the site survey to the AWA project coordinator no more than 1 business day post audit
